Farming Simulator 25: Beans & Alpacas Expansion Is Out Now

Farming Simulator 25: Beans & Alpacas is now available for PC and consoles. The expansion takes players to the South America-inspired region of Catuaí, where coffee plantations, banana cultivation, alpacas, and a variety of new activities await. Players who own the Year 2 Season Pass already have access, as the expansion is included. 🦙☕🍌

A New Map Inspired by Brazil

Catuaí lets players build their farm among rolling hills, coffee plantations, tropical vegetation, and characteristic red soil. The map features a winding river, a lively rural village, new production facilities, and plenty of places to explore. Its warm climate brings dry and rainy seasons instead of snowy winters, with ground and building surfaces changing when the rain starts to fall.

Beyond farming, players can spot parrots and caimans, uncover hidden dinosaur bones for the local museum, or venture into the rainforest to find a research station.

Coffee and Bananas Take Root

Two new cultivation systems let players establish their own coffee estate or banana plantation with customizable layouts. Coffee requires specialized machinery to harvest ripe cherries, while bananas introduce manual harvesting with machetes, transport rails, and washing stations. Both crops require plant health management, including fungicide treatments.

The harvest is only the start of the production chain. Coffee can be turned into packed coffee, capsules, beverages, tiramisu, and coffee yogurt, while bananas can be processed into milk, chips, jam, and cake.

Alpacas and Brahman Cattle Join the Farm

Players can raise alpacas in four different colors, take them for walks to boost their happiness, and shear their fleece every spring, or hire a worker to handle the shearing. The fleece can be sold or processed into wool, socks, pillows, furniture, and alpaca plush toys. Brahman cattle also join the selection of farm animals.

New Machines and Productions

The expansion adds more than 25 new machines and implements from manufacturers including Case IH, Ford, John Deere, KUHN, Mercedes-Benz Trucks, New Holland, Oxbo, Stara, and Valtra. Colombo Industries and Southern Spreaders join the series as new brands.

Players can also set up new production chains, manufacture paint from dyes and resin, repaint buildings for the local community, and take on new construction projects. Six new farmhouses, additional placeables, enhanced ground-working animations, and weathering effects add further detail to the farm and its surroundings.
