Road Trip: Ford DLC for American Truck Simulator Gets a Release Date

SCS Software has announced that the Road Trip: Ford DLC for American Truck Simulator will be released on September 29, 2026, bringing a new way to experience the game behind the wheel of licensed Ford vehicles.

Alongside the release date announcement, SCS Software's video team put together an official trailer to showcase what's coming with the DLC.

A New Way to Explore the Map

Road Trip: Ford introduces a different kind of gameplay experience for American Truck Simulator. Instead of hauling freight in large rigs, players will be able to drive smaller passenger vehicles, take on smaller delivery jobs, customize their cars with accessories, and repaint them in different colors. The DLC also brings the new Atlas feature, letting players explore the U.S. from a new perspective while discovering and learning about landmarks along the way.

Featured Vehicles

The DLC includes several iconic Ford vehicles: the 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback, the 2023 Ford F-150, the 2023 Ford Bronco, and the 1998–2012 Ford Crown Victoria. Players will be able to drive these cars along routes such as Route 66 between Chicago and Los Angeles, through the Midwest, or across the mountains of Montana.

Atlas Feature Also Available for Trucks

Players who prefer to stay behind the wheel of their trucks aren't left out either — the Atlas feature that comes with Road Trip DLCs isn't limited to cars. Owning the Road Trip: Ford DLC also unlocks the feature for use in an 18-wheeler once the DLC is released.
