FS25: Beans & Alpacas Expansion Adds New Production Chains and a Dinosaur

Farming Simulator 25: Beans & Alpacas is introducing a wide range of new products and production chains centered on coffee and bananas, while also expanding the map with new construction projects on Catuaí that require players to deliver resources. Together, these systems let players build an entirely new business network based on roasted coffee, fresh fruit, and more. Oh, and there's a dinosaur too. 🦖☕
A New Production Economy Takes Shape
The expansion's product lineup includes coffee goods, alpaca products, banana products, and material-based items, along with a fungicide as part of the broader crop-care system. Several recipes also allow for optional ingredients, giving certain production chains more flexibility.
Overall, Beans & Alpacas builds a more interconnected economy: crops turn into processed goods, alpaca fleece becomes textiles and furniture, and raw materials are converted into paint for community-focused tasks. Whether the focus is on coffee, bananas, alpacas, or construction materials, Catuaí gives players plenty of new reasons to build, process, and expand.
Coffee Production Chain Gets a Major Expansion
The coffee chain begins with harvested Coffee Cherries and continues through the Coffee Processing Plant. From there, it expands into products such as Coffee Bags, Packed Coffee, Roasted Coffee, Coffee Capsules, and Coffee Beverage.
Coffee doesn't stop at the cup, though — the chain also links up with other goods, including Coffee Yogurt and Tiramisu. With the Roastery, Coffee Shop, Dairy, and Bakery all involved, coffee becomes one of the central production branches in the expansion.
Bananas Bring New Processing Options
Bananas open up another major production line. After harvest, they pass through the Banana Washing Station and are collected into Banana Boxes, which then feed further processing steps.
From there, bananas can be turned into Banana Snacks, Banana Milk, Fried Banana, Banana Jam, Banana Cake, and Banana Chips. The Canning Factory, Banana Drying Station, Dairy, and Bakery all connect to this branch, resulting in a wide range of new edible products — and more profit for the player.
Alpaca Wool Opens Up a Furniture Line
Alpacas feed into the production economy as well. Their Alpaca Fleece can be processed at the Spinnery into Alpaca Wool, which then continues down the production chain.
The Tailor Shop turns alpaca materials into Alpaca Plush, Alpaca Pillow, and Alpaca Socks. The chain also extends to Carpentry, where Alpaca Chair and Alpaca Stool add a furniture branch to the lineup. Alpacas are being introduced as a brand-new animal type alongside this expansion.
New Paint Production Chain Added
Beans & Alpacas also introduces a material-focused chain. Copper Ore, Resin, and Pigments feed into Paint Production, resulting in Paint Buckets that connect to a system for repainting select houses on the map.
The Sawmill supplies Resin, while the Pigment Factory produces Pigments. Together, these materials create a new branch that gives players another practical way to establish production chains on Catuaí — and a way to help spruce up the town by delivering paint to houses in need of a fresh coat.
Research Station Construction Arrives on Catuaí
At the edge of the map, away from the main road and surrounded by dense rainforest, players can take on a new construction project: the Research Station. Once completed, it adds a traditional regional architectural style to Catuaí, featuring wooden construction and a thatched roof.
Once finished, players can enter the station and learn more about the region. Inside, informational posters cover trees and bushes, sugarcane, coffee, alpacas, traditional instruments, and other regional characteristics, making the rainforest station a fun place to explore.
Hidden Dinosaur Bones Add a Bonus Discovery
And let's not forget another special discovery — several of them, actually. Dinosaur bones are hidden throughout the soil all across Catuaí, meaning players will uncover them simply by working the fields.
Collected bones are added to a skeleton display at the local museum. Completing the full skeleton unlocks a special reward — one that can be worn, and one that's notably fluffy. Players will have to find out for themselves what it looks like.
Expansion Coming Soon
With new production chains built around coffee, bananas, alpaca wool, and construction materials, Farming Simulator 25: Beans & Alpacas gives players plenty to discover on Catuaí. Extra additions like the dinosaur bones and the new Research Station add a fun layer of exploration on top of the expanded economy.
